Villa Bakung is part of a small complex of three luxurious waterfront villas. Sharing the same level of luxury with its two counterparts, It offers four luxurious suites in a self-contained private villa unit.

Beaches along Candidasa coastline are mostly rocky with only a few strips of short and steep sands. Whilst there are a number of waterfront villas in Candidasa, most of them are facing rocky water-frontage, making sunbathing impossible and swimming dangerous. Together with two other villas in its complex, the Villa Bakung enjoys private man-made golden sandy beach, just a few steps away from the villa.

In addition to its unique private beach, Villa Bakung is also complimented by 24 hours post-card quality views. Whilst on daylight it is blessed by deep blue sea and framed by lush tropical coastal countryside, at night, the moon arising from behind the neighboring Nusa Penida island gives you an extraordinary bonus.

Villa Bakung - ACCOMMODATION

An open pavilion featuring dining table for 8, lounging area with comfortable couches and state-of-the-art multimedia entertainment system, and a small kitchen equipped to meet modern Western standard welcomes guests as they enter the inner gate. This pavilion overlooks the ocean through a long private swimming pool.

A separated two storey building set along the other side of the swimming pool, composing L-shape layout against the living pavilion, houses the four luxurious suites. On each floor are two luxurious suites. Downstairs suites enjoy terraces directly facing the swimming pool. Upstairs suites have long balconies connecting the two, with sungken seating spaces suitable relax gazing the ocean view or layback lulled by the ocean breeze.

Large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors along the swimming-pool-facing side of the bedrooms allow the breath taking views of the ocean enjoyable from the bed. As standard to all bedrooms, these bedrooms are air-conditioned and en-suited with luxurious bathroom.

Villa Bakung - SWIMMING POOL AND GARDEN

Long lap pool set surrounded by the L-shaped building on two sides and lawn area in the other side features an infinity backdrop against the ocean. Adjacent to the two-story bedroom pavilion, directly facing the beach, is an open pavilion suitable for dinning, barbecue at night, or just lounging by the beach.

A few steps down from the lawn is golden-sandy beach. The beach is built by the villa and therefore is solely dedicated to the guest of Villa Bakung and the other two villas within the complex.

Villa Bakung - Staff

Villa Bakung is managed by a professional team dedicated to run the three villas within the complex. Under the command of an in-house villa manager. Whilst they are extensively travelling the globe, the owners also closely monitor the operation of the villa to ensure that each and every guest gets the best villa living experience.

In the team, the villa has sufficient fleet, including house maids, gardeners, security guards, and cooks. However, regardless you have a fleet of people working to pamper your holiday, your privacy will remain preserved. Except at certain time when they are doing their work on spot, i.e. maids cleaning the bedrooms, chefs preparing meals, etc. all staffs continue their works in a separated staff quarters.

To get the in-house cook to prepare the meal, grocery shopping system is applied. You discussed what you want to have the next day and give sufficient amount of cash to the cook.

Villa Bakung - Location

A winding country road off the main road leading to Candidasa brings you to a small exclusive neighborhood of private villas cascading along the coast. As most other part of the east coast of Bali, the beach is mostly rocky, leaving only narrow and steep sand apears only in a low tide. Fortunately the complex consisting of three luxurious villas where Villa Bakung is located has a privately built golden-sandy beach along its beach frontage.

The resort town of Candidasa where string of restaurants, hotels, shops, and diving operators are cascading along the road is only a few kilometers away. Through the newly built bypass, scenic trip from the greater south where Bali’s most popular tourist enclaves like Seminyak, Sanur, Nusadua and Jimbaran is reachable in a little more than one hour drive.
Candidasa is known as the gate to the east, where treasure of natural beauties both on the surface an under water are awaiting to be explored by those who are prepared to spend a bit extra effort to get them. Whilst below the shoreline of Candidasa hides amaxing underwater paradise, a bit further to the east, the name like Amed and Tulamben is well known to worldwide scuba diving addicts.
